Tarangeeta was born from the artistic spirit of its founder, Praneeta Sharma, whose lifelong love for fabric painting shaped the heart of the brand. For her, cloth has always been a canvas where colour, emotion, and imagination meet.

Rooted in the textile heritage of West Bengal, Tarangeeta began with a passion for preserving a traditional art that is slowly fading, while creating meaningful opportunities for women in rural communities.

Through a women-led artisan collective, Tarangeeta brings this heritage into modern wardrobes, transforming sarees, kaftans and dupattas into wearable works of art, painted by hand and made with pride.
